Dreher Group oat-based drinks offer a range of lactose-free, vegan products that can be enriched with various additives such as oils or salt, or combined with fruit juices. Low-sugar versions are available – all produced with an eco-friendly, low-energy process.

How it’s made

Fresh fruit supply

Only the whole grain, not flour: big packs of organic spelt-free oat grains are delivered to our facilities in Stockach by lorry.

Processing

To start off, the grains are finely ground. Individual product characteristics can be configured during the subsequent enzymatic fermentation. The oat-bases are used to blend and produce custom oat drinks.

Logistics

The finished products are transported to bottling plants in tankers or IBCs. Our logistics team is in charge of loading and transportation.

Laboratory

Calculating the dry matter content, pH value and sugar profile: we use state-of-the art technology and microbiological processes to monitor each stage of the production process.
With this approach, we guarantee the consistently high-quality oat drinks our customers have come to expect and rely on from Dreher Group.

Sensor system

Our air-conditioned light and odour-neutral sensor room is more than just a test environment; it’s an innovation lab. In the sensor room, specially trained Dreher Group experts work together to come up with the ideal conditions to create consistently high quality every time in terms of taste, smell, appearance and consistency. Working closely with our customers allows us to create innovative products time and again.

Quality management

Dreher Group holds multiple certifications and is a member of several organisations and associations.
Here are some examples: HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point, integrated in IFS and SGF standards), SGF/IRMA (Sure Global Fair/International Raw Material Assurance), IFS Food Version 8 (International Featured Standard), DE-ÖKO-001 (organic certification), Naturland, SMETA 4 Pillars.
