For many years we have been conducting regular sustainability audits with our suppliers. We only work with partners who share our standards.

At Fidel Dreher GmbH, our employees are not just workers – they are the heart of our company.

We offer systematic training and continuing education programs. We are particularly proud of: “All our apprentices are taken on with permanent employment contracts.”

With the “Dreher Pension,” we show: We think long-term for our employees. The particularly low employee turnover speaks for us.

We follow a clear priority for our waste: recycling is always sought first or a second use before disposal, and disposal is only the last resort.

We actively promote nature: long-term contracts with producers, annual tree planting activities and bee projects.

We conserve our resources – water is precious; we continuously optimize our water consumption and use treatment plants for reuse.

Energy issues are undergoing change, which is why we continue to work on them. By 2030, we have set the concrete goal of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by half.

Ten years ago, the use of our combined heat and power plant with gas was highly effective; today it is no longer state of the art, so it will be shut down and we’ll switch to regionally produced green electricity. Additionally, we are increasing our own electricity generation through photovoltaic systems and are investing in electricity storage.

Our certified energy management system means continuous monitoring and optimization of energy data and identification of savings potential.
