For many years we have been at home in the Lake Constance region. Not by chance – our raw materials grow here, we know our partners here and here we can live true sustainability. At Dreher Group, regionality is more than just a buzzword: it is our program.

Dreher Group stands for the “Spirit Of Naturals” – and this spirit is deeply rooted in the region. We specifically source our raw materials mainly from the Lake Constance region, southern Germany and Baden-Württemberg. This principle naturally applies to all Group locations – so at Dreher Poland we also continuously create new regional partnerships for sourcing our raw materials.

Nurturing Partnerships

Many years ago, we recognized that the meadow orchards in our region were coming under pressure. Old trees, low yields, high inspection costs – many fruit farmers saw no future anymore. We didn’t want to accept that.

That’s why we founded Dreher Natural Products: a certification program according to Naturland guidelines that protects meadow orchard areas in the region and secures their economic viability. We bear the inspection costs – the biggest financial hurdle in organic certification.

Meadow Orchards – More Than Just Fruit

Meadow orchards are living ecosystems. Hundreds of animal and plant species have their home here. At the same time, they fulfill essential functions: they bind carbon, regulate water storage, protect against erosion and shape the face of our region.

With Dreher Natural Products we secure the existence of these valuable landscapes. Every tree we replant is an investment in the future. That’s why we continuously work on tree planting projects that we organize and finance ourselves.

Raw Material Sourcing – Regional, Transparent

We think regionally not only with fruit. We also specifically source our oat raw materials from the region – in close cooperation with local producers.

We promote shorter transport routes for fewer emissions and fresher raw materials. We rely on personal relationships for higher quality control and mutual trust. We provide planning certainty so our producers know what we need and we know what we’re getting.

The Lake Constance region is part of our identity. That’s why we invest year after year in its future. Through fair prices for producers. Through continuous tree planting projects. Through consistent cooperation with local partners. Through transparency in every supply chain.

Dreher Poland – Promoting Partnership

With our location in Poland we pursue the same approaches. Proximity to producer and raw material – promotion of the region and preservation of resources. We work in Poland with producers in Farm Management Groups to enable more and more farms to obtain certification according to the FSA sustainability standard.
